Project Summary

The Coach House was designed to be more than a beautiful boutique stay. It was designed to feel elevated, immersive, and unforgettable from the moment guests arrive. Rooted in the character of Salem and reimagined through a luxury lens, this project blends timeless design with bold, intentional details that create a space with presence, personality, and lasting impact.

Jessica Sullivan Design provided full service interior design, interior styling, and project management, leading the transformation of every interior space throughout the property. From the guest rooms to the lobby and common areas, each space was designed to feel cohesive, refined, and iconic.

One of the most important design challenges and opportunities within this project was that no two guest rooms were the same. Each room featured a different footprint, layout, and architectural conditions, requiring a high level of attention to detail to ensure every space functioned beautifully while still feeling like part of a unified experience. We carefully developed layouts that made the most of each room's unique shape and flow, selecting furniture and design elements that enhanced comfort, improved usability, and elevated the overall guest experience.

While every room required custom planning, the design direction remained intentionally consistent throughout the hotel. Materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and styling were selected to create a seamless visual story that carries from space to space, ensuring the property feels connected and thoughtfully curated rather than disjointed. The result is a collection of rooms that each feel special, while still belonging to one bold and cohesive design vision.

In addition to the design work, we managed the complete furnishing and styling process from beginning to end. This included sourcing, selecting, ordering, delivery coordination, and final staging, ensuring each room and every common space felt finished, polished, and intentionally composed. The styling brought the final layer of luxury, creating a boutique experience that feels curated, memorable, and guest ready.
